WHAT IS HAPPENING?
While many parts of the world are seeing their COVID-19 cases decrease, Nepal’s cases are spreading faster than almost anywhere else in the world. Daily cases are rising so rapidly that the medical system is overwhelmed and cannot accommodate the new patients. As such, Nepal is currently in a dire state as it struggles to battle a deadly second-wave of the COVID-19 virus.
Nepal's is currently reporting more cases per million of the virus than India. Following the halt of Indian exports to Nepal, vaccination efforts have also come to a halt as Nepal's healthcare system continues to struggle with the overwhelming number of new cases daily.

Our Covid-relief partner
Hami Nepal Youth Organization is a Youth-Led, nonprofit organization in Nepal, currently working on the ground to minimize the impact of the second wave of COVID19 on the healthcare system of the country. Hami Nepal has a track record of producing tangible and effective assistance through volunteer work and donations during public crises in Nepal; their efforts and assistance were widely lauded during the crisis arising in the aftermath of the earthquake in 2015. Hami Nepal has mobilized volunteers to purchase and manage oxygen cylinders, ventilators and hospital beds in coordination with hospitals like Bir Hospital that are treating COVID-19 patients.

Currently, Hami Nepal has successfully set up 138 beds procured by the hospital itself and on behalf of the Hami Nepal Team, additional 147 beds have been ordered and the setup will be complete in the coming days.
We humbly ask for your donations to assist Hami Nepal and its volunteers in their mission to facilitate healthcare services for those suffering from COVID-19.

Nepal is experiencing a devastating surge in COVID-19 cases following an explosion in cases in the neighboring country. HOW WILL THE FUNDS BE USED?
All proceeds from our services will be donated directly to Hami Nepal Youth Organisation. These funds will be used to support their covid-relief efforts. Hami Nepal's equipment checklist to minimize the impact of the second wave in Nepal is as per the below,
